SOLID STATE NOW PROVIDE A VARIETY OF POWER SEMICONDUCTOR TECHNOLOGIES IN ISOLATED PACKAGES.
ISOPLUS packages are currently available for MOSFET, IGBT, FRED, SCR, Rectifiers, Schottky Diodes and Solid State Relays.
There are a number of package options that include 220, 247, 264, i4-PAC and DIL versions. The ISOPLUS packages feature internal direct copper bonded isolation, provide integral case isolation (up to 2,500V), are UL certified, have improved creepage distance and dramatically reduced total thermal resistance.
Examples include a 100V MOSFET with Rds(on) of 0.0074 Ohms and an Isolated Rth(jc) of 1.0K/W!
